STRATEGIC PRIORITIES – how will we fulfil the mission?
STRATEGIC PRIORITIES – how will we fulfil the mission?
Developing accreditation activities to support innovation, growth and sustainable development of existing and new areas of the economy.
The strategic priority refers to activities related to the extension and harmonization of accreditation of services provided by conformity assessment bodies. It is closely related to communication regarding the development of accreditation activities and providing support to regulators, private owners of conformity assessment programs and conformity assessment bodies themselves, taking into account the changing requirements and expectations of recipients of conformity assessment results. The implementation of the priority requires maintaining and developing cooperation with international organizations for accreditation and bilateral cooperation with accreditation bodies of other countries. It should be implemented with the involvement of interested parties while tightening cooperation with the main participants of the national quality infrastructure, such as the Central Office of Measures and the Polish Committee for Standardization.
Having staff with specific knowledge and skills and working to develop human resources.
The strategic priority refers to building the basic resources of the accreditation body based on knowledge, competences and staff development. It involves organizing the activities of the accreditation body based on strong teams, rich in their own knowledge and experience and supported by external expert knowledge. It also includes investing in developing and complementing this knowledge in line with technological developments and sustainable development priorities.
Strengthening the relevance and improvement in the delivery of credible accreditation services.
The strategic priority refers to the core activities of the accreditation body focussed on the needs of the client and other stakeholders. It assumes the implementation of activities adequate to the development of the national economy based on international requirements guaranteeing global recognition of conformity assessment results. The implementation of the priority also ensures timely and high level of accreditation services, quality of service and the use of appropriate forms and tools of cooperation with extensive use of electronic means of communication. Priority enables wide access to up-to-date information on accreditation requirements and conditions, based on globally recognized standards and regulations, which allows accredited entities to improve and develop their activities at a global level. The result of the activities is building and maintaining trust among all stakeholders in the results of accredited services obtained by Polish conformity assessment bodies.
